Vector And Beyond

Posted by mike51200 on January 28, 2007

Ok so there are lots of people out there using photoshop but they use it in the most basic of ways you know like adding text to a photo changing the color of a photo well there is so much more. One of my favorite things is vectoring now some people will say you need Adobe Illustrator to do this. This is not true you can use Photoshop if you do it right refer to the tutorial in my last post for making life like cartoon objects. Now what is vector. Vector is a format that makes it so you can open it in programs like Adobe Reader and resize it from 1cm to 50 ft across without losing any quality now that pretty amazing if you ask me. Now new technology is coming all the time so what will come out next you can already do so much in the new version of photoshop you can change the angle of a photo you took so you are now looking at the picture a different way. So I want to know what you think will be the nexted thing that we will be able to do in the photo category.

>>This will boggle your mind, I know it did mine!
>>The year is 1906.
>>One hundred years ago.
>>What a difference a century makes!

>>year, and a mechanical engineer about $5,000 per year.
>>
>>
>>More than 95 percent of all births took place at HOME .

YouTube On Your Computer

Posted by mike51200 on January 20, 2007

So we all know that YouTube wont let you download any of their videos which is quiet annoying at times but recently i have come across a few tools to bypass this. If you use Firefox (like i do) then you can download a plugin to download embedded videos from anywhere. But you can only download them as a .flv which you need a special player for but there are converters out there to convert to normal videos. Now if you don’t use Firefox and you still want to there is a website that you can convert .flv embedded videos from YouTube right on the site then download it as a .avi or .mpg4 and others. There is another cool feature on the site is to make an RSS feed for your iPod (iTunes) or your PSP from YouTube. Now for those of you that don’t know that would make it so you could watch your favorite YouTube videos on your PSP. Now this is really useful cause i can be at West Edmonton Mall go on the net from my PSP and Watch new YouTube Videos. Now this is not very important im my life i am not so dependent on YouTube that i have to watch it all the time but the point is i could do it if i wanted. I always like finding these cool little things i can do that either make life cool or are mind blowing (not saying this is). Think about it though a few decades ago computers were just coming into homes at a top memory of like 10mb and as big as the desk they were on now today you can have a device not much bigger then a book and a top memory of as many memory sticks the size of a gum stick as you want. And go on and talk to your friend in China then have him a game of poker all while siting in the mall waiting for someone.
